Eric Roberson: Paves A New Road For The Obama Movement

Ok, just about every artist who is an Obama supporter has a tribute song to support the candidate for change. The more the better. Here is a very moving song and video by one of my favorite r&b artist, Eric Roberson. Soul moving.

I need for the election to come and go, I've turned into a serious tear shedder.

Check out this video by Eric Roberson.

CNN's Campbell Brown Calls Out Sarah Palin

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Frankly I have had it, and I know a lot of other women out there who are with me on this. I have had enough of the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin. It has to end.

She was in New York on Tuesday meeting with world leaders at the U.N. And what did the McCain campaign do?

They tried to ban reporters from covering those meetings. And they did ban reporters from asking Gov. Palin any questions.
I call upon the McCain campaign to stop treating
Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower who will wilt at any moment.

Good Times Backstage: Penny & Willona Hang Out

My boy, photographer/publicist, Steve Williams supplied me with backstage images from Janet Jackson's L.A. show.

Steve, thanks for allowing me to share the pics!

Ja'net Dubois & Janet aka Willona & Penny backstage at Janet's L.A. show. It just occured to me that these two have the same first name. (Ja'net and Janet backstage) Truly beautiful; and society suggests women lie about their age when they're over 25. Are you serious? Who made up that rule? Janet is 42 and Ms. Ja'net "Willona" is 63. Forever fabulous.

McCain Halts Campaign-No Debate on Friday

Tiffany: Ok, so we are less than 45 days away from the Presidential election, in a recession and the GOP candidate wants to tip out now. Mr. McCain, now would be a good time for you to start trying to convince people, right now, at this time why you should run the country. I'm sure there are enough elected officials who can handle the horrible state of economic affairs while you continue to campaign. I need to see you on t.v, behind a podium on Friday. I've changed my Friday evening plans for this debate. Funny that we learn Barack is up in the polls by 9 and you want to move away from the campaign at this time. Now, since Barack would like to move forward w/ the debate, I guess he doesn't care about the country. I await your next approved by you commercial.

From AOL News:

NEW YORK (Sept. 24) - Republican John McCain said Wednesday he wants to delay Friday's debate with Democratic rival Barack Obama and temporarily put aside their partisan campaign to resolve the nation's financial crisis.

McCain's announcement came after the two candidates held private talks about joining forces to address the Wall Street meltdown. The Obama campaign said the Democrat initiated the talks, but McCain beat Obama to the punch with the first public statement calling for the two to rise above politics in a time of crisis.

Janet Jackson- Can't Be Good (but it is)

I'm finding it difficult to comprehend why Def Jam didn't stand behind Janet's project. She has a very solid album and the single, "Can't Be Good" is one of the hottest/sexiest songs on her cd. I understand she has left the Def Jam building.

If you do not have her cd, please press play below to hear this song. I know some radio stations are starting to jump on it.

Back From the DNC

Hey Creatiff Ones,

First, a shout out to those of you who reached out to me with your well wishes for my DNC trip. I was elated to receive those messages; I no longer think I'm the only one who reads my blog...LOL. Well, I am still on an emotional high and I become so overwhelmed when I re-live the experience that I seriously start to shed tears.

I went straight to NYC from Denver to attend a wedding and once I landed in the city, I had to immediately become a NY'er and I lost some of my emotional memories because the NY'ers were off the chain (smiles) as soon as I landed at JFK. You gotta just move and shake and get rude with folk in that city at times- still my favorite home away from home but the airport employees were straight off the chain for me on this trip. Welcome to NY for real. Anyhoo, there were sooo many amazing events and experiences that happended in Denver, I need to use this weekend to get all details together for this blog. Truly an amazing experience though. If you didn't attend the DNC, please consider the Inauguration in January. I have lots of pictures to share. I'm hoping to get them all out by Monday. My trip with 3 of my favorite girl-friends was truly a blessed experience.

Sarah Palin

Still trying to "google" as much as I can about her. I watched her now famous speech, but what's up with her, or any human down-playing community leadership? So crass!!Making light of a man who is a Harvard Law Grad, who decided to go back to an area of Chicago to be a bridge between the community and law-makers and help empower those United States citizens is extremely offensive to me, and I would assume any person who has a passion to serve. On another note, she delivered her speech as if she wrote it herself. She was confident but the content of her speech was empty and condescending. Oh, and trust, if Malia or Sasha Obama were of child-bearing age and got pregnant out of wedlock, there would be no-way the teen-pregnancy matter would be private and or the family's business only. (Neck rollin' with my hands on my hips) :)

Musiq Soulchild- Rocks The DNC

This boy is HOT and so is his new smash single, Radio. If Musiq is anywhere close to a town near you...get there. You have to experience him and get ready to "rock out" to his new single. Besides, he's one of a few artists who's first single doesn't feature Lil Wayne or T-Pain. Now that's risky.....but there's always room for a remix. :)

I attended Musiq's performance in Denver at a DNC afterparty hosted by Perennial Strategy Group (who by the way, put on the most organized after-parties I've ever attended in my party life) Musiq is straight up a performer-he rocked us into a frenzy at his show. The crowd was entertained by the soulful child and his amazing band for 1hr 1/2. Please rock out with him-he's on tour this month and his project, onmyradio is slated for a late November release. It took me one quick minute to process his current single, "Radio", but only a quick minute because the song truly rocks- it's different for him. I spoke with him at the ASCAP Awards a few months ago and I mentioned how "different" his single was and he stated, "but it's not different for radio".

Diddy Apologizes To The State of Alaska

Diddy video-blogs an apology to the state of Alaska for his comments made regarding the state's Republican VP pick, Sarah Palin. While viewing the initial video, I thought it was retarded but because I'm a November Scorpio, like Diddy, I understand our unique sense of humor, and charged it to that game. Puff, not everyone is gonna "get" your Scorpio, to the left humor. Please be selective next time you use it, especially as it relates to Obama-we can't have you affecting his candidacy.
